Clip 'n Climb is the latest thing in active entertainment. Because automatic belays are used, everyone gets to climb at the same time.
Walls include dedicated speed climbing walls with built in timers, to a glow in the dark tower, there is a challenge for everyone.
Suitable for anyone age 5 or older, and plenty of challenge for adults to enjoy the Clip 'n Climb experience too.
Basecamp Wanaka is an indoor climbing facility. There are some fantastic sport climbing walls, have a chat to the friendly crew on the day and organise another booking if you wish to have a go!

Great challenge
The kids had a great time challenging themselves with the different walls. Staff were super helpful. Great place and would do it again

AMAZING! Must do in Wanaka for any climber!
Oh my, Nea and John thank you both so very much for providing me with the best climbing experience ? had to go back two more times because it was so much fun. Wonderful little centre with dozens of routes plus clip n climb fun for new climbers and kids. The dark climb was really interesting. Brilliant facilities too, great way to spend a couple of hours. Very knowledgeable staff, always wanting to help.

Loads of fun. They just show you how to clip on and leave you to it. And a good work out!

Spaß und Sport
Wir waren mit unseren r und z Jahre alten Kids hierher. Das Personal war super freundlich und hat uns verständlich und geduldig eingewiesen. Aufgrund des Clip and Climb Systems bestand keinerlei Gefahr für die Kinder (und für uns). Die Kinder hatten sogar fast mehr Freude daran sich von halber Höhe in die sicherungsgurte fallen zu lassen als bis nach oben zu klettern.Die Boulderecke und das Klettern mit Sicherungspartner war in dem Deal nicht enthalten. Das war aber nicht schlimm da es für das Clip 'n Climb genügend Wände mit unterschiedlichen Schwierigkeitsgraden gab. Es hat uns sehr viel Spaß gemacht. Eine Stunde ist völlig ausreichend. Danach hat man, als ungeübte Kletterer, kaum noch Kraft in den Armen
