Great experience
Very friendly and helpful service during check in and set up. The suggested route along the lake, riverside and around Iron Mountain was scenic and worthwhile. We did stop at RhymexReason brewery with a short trip back to Bike Lounge. Solid equipment without problems.

Best value bike hire in Wanaka?
Book your bike through ‘bookme.co.nz’ and search for ‘Bike Lounge’ to get a discount, but maybe call the ‘Lounge afterwards to make sure they save you the right size bike(s)… as one of ours was way to too small for a 5’5” rider.

Bike Lounge
Picking up the bike was good. A friendly young man helped me choose a helmet and matched me to the correctly sized bike dropping was terrible. We waited outside while the owner i presume had a conversation with his friends totally ignoring us.

Kia ora Valdene, thank you for your feedback, our apologies for the bad experience you had upon returning your bikes. All throughout the year we have multiple businesses operating from our premises (7+ businesses with over 40 staff, 5 of whom work at Bike Lounge) including a ski workshop, administration offices, and others who are not employed at Bike Lounge so they are not always able to receive returned rentals. If you can email us with any more information about your return to [email protected] that would be greatly appreciated. This will help me pass this feedback onto the winter crew who are often working or meeting for conversations during our busiest afternoon returns so we can ensure we communicate effectively across all businesses working from our space.
