Our trips boast a high success rate for wildlife viewing and is your best chance to encounter these amazing mammals, as we are one of only 2 operators with a marine mammal permit!
We will also stop off at the stunning Otehei Bay Urupukapuka Island which is considered by some as the most beautiful island within the Bay. Here you will have some free time to swim, explore or relax with a bite to eat from our licensed café (at own expense).

Belle expérience qui aurait pu être parfaite
J'ai passé un bon moment lors de cette expédition, le personnel est aimable, nous avions de parfaites conditions et la visite de l'île est assez incroyable. J'ai adoré le temps passé sur place. Je ne mets pas la note de 5 étoiles, car je n'ai pas entendu les communications qui n'étaient pas très clair et je suis descendu directement sur l'ile, pensant que tout le monde descendait. J'ai malheureusement loupé la visite du "Hole in the rock" et n'est pas pu profiter pour voir des mammifères marins. Je suis un peu déçu de cela car sans cela, le tour aurait été parfait..

Tout avait bien commencé avec un prix attractif (mais tout de même cher) ! Nous avons pris le bateau avec quelques personnes, et là désenchantement : aucun dauphin ou autre d’apercus, passer sous hole était impossible, le BBQ lunch c’est deux saucisses et 1 cuisse de poulet qui nous attendent déjà chauffées...pour s’excuser la compagnie nous offre la même croisière gratuite à refaire .. nous leur expliquons que nous ne reviendrons pas en NZ.. ils n’ont rien voulu savoir. Je ne recommande vraiment pas cette croisière en hiver !

Belle croisière mais
Le début de la croisière est vraiment géniale. Nous avons eu la chance voir des dauphins, puis ensuite nous sommes allés en direction du Hole in the Rock, le capitaine a réussi à nous permettre de passer dans le trou avec le bâteau. Nous avons eu plein d'explications très intéressantes. Nous avons ensuite été à nouveau chanceux car nous avons vu une nouvelle famille de dauphins d'une espèce différente. Ensuite nous nous sommes arrêtés sur une Ile et c'est là que nous avons eu notre repas inclus. Nous y sommes restés 1h20, et c'est là que pour moi est le point noir de l'excursion. Car il y a une balade à faire pour admirer Bay of Islands de haut, mais j'aurais préféré passer plus de temps sur l'océan pour voir peut être d'autres mammifères marins.

Superbe croisiere
Nous n avons pas eu la chance de croiser dauphins ou baleines seulement des phoques mais neanmoins la traversée elle même vaut vraiment la peine . On longe des îles sauvages et très belles jusqu'au site "hole in the rock" impressionnant.
