Both stunningly beautiful and historically significant, this spectacular haven draws visitors from around the world, showcasing the breathtaking beauty of the Bay of Islands and its diverse wildlife in their natural surroundings.

Sit back and relax as we cruise among the 144 islands with the skipper's expert commentary, including a visit to the famous Hole in the Rock and when conditions allow, travel through it!

Our trips boast a high success rate for wildlife viewing and is your best chance to encounter these amazing mammals, as we are one of only 2 operators with a marine mammal permit!

We will also stop off at the stunning Otehei Bay Urupukapuka Island which is considered by some as the most beautiful island within the Bay. Here you will have some free time to swim, explore or relax with a bite to eat from our licensed café (at own expense).

    Check In:

    Paihia Departure: Please check in at the Fullers GreatSights / Explore office in the Maritime building at least 15 minutes before departure.

    Russell Departure: Please check in directly to the vessel at departure time at the end of the Russell Wharf.

    Please note we code share with Fullers Great Sights please look out for either a Explore or Fullers Great Sights Branded vessel at your boarding time

    Departure Times: Booking times are ex Paihia. Departures from Russell are 10 minutes later.

  • Child price applies to ages 5 to 15 years. Children under 5 years travel free.

Tolle Rundfahrt

Die Tour hält, was sie verspricht. Abgesehen von einer wilden Horde Inder, die sich permanent vorgedrängelt hat war es ein tolles Erlebnis. Wer in pahia ist, darf diese Tour nicht verpassen!

Einmalig!

Eigentlich bin ich kein Fan von sehr touristischen Angeboten. Da es aber die einzige Möglichkeit war Ende Juni die Bay of Islands vom Wasser aus sehen zu können, habe ich die ca. 4 1/2 stündige Tour auch wegen des günstigen Deal-Preises hier bei Bookme gebucht. Ich bin aber so dermaßen auf meine Kosten gekommen, dass ich schon fasr Abbitte für meine Vorbehalte leisten müsste. Buchungsprozess 1a, Bestätigung & Informationen vorab vom Ambietee 1a, Boarding & angenehme, lehrreich vermittelte Informationen während der Bootstour, ebenfalls Bestnote. Die Crew war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich und es gab sehr viel zu sehen. Sogar ein paar Pinguine, Mantas, Seehunde, einen Delfin und sehr viele Möwen ;o) Das Hole in the Rock ist tatsächlich recht beeindruckend, Für den Stopp auf Urupukapuka würde ich persönlich empfehlen auf eine Snack-Pause im Gastrobetrieb zu verzichten um stattdessen die Zeit für einen der Tracks über die Insel zu nutzen. Ohnehin macht es meines Erachtens nach mehr Sinn eigene Verpflegung mitzunehmen. Der Kaffee auf dem Schiff war nicht gut, der auf der Insel schon, aber recht teuer. Zum Essen kann ich nichts sagen. Die Toiletten auf dem Schiff und auf der Insel waren sehr sauber. Lange Rede, kurzer Sinn: die Tour macht Spaß, ist informativ und für Jung und Alt geeignet.

Tolle Bootsfahrt

Auf einem schnellen Katamaran geht es bis zum Hole in the Rock, welches bei normaler Dünung durchfahren wird. Das Boot passt gerade so durch. Oftmals werden auf der Hinfahrt Delfine gesichtet ... wir hatten eine ganz Schule, die gerade beim Fischfang waren, über eine längere Zeit beobachten können. Garantie dafür gibt es aber nicht, da es einfach Wildtiere sind. Die Erläuterungen unterwegs waren sehr gut und humorvoll. Auf der Insel Urupukapuka hat man die Möglichkeit, eine kleine Wanderung mit wundervollen Blicken auf die Inselwelt zu machen und wird nach knapp 2 Stunden wieder vom Boot zurückgebracht. Im Herbst geht die Fahrt dann bis in den Abend und wir haben dann bei Dunkelheit angelegt. Wir sind froh und zufrieden, dass wir diese Fahrt gebucht haben.

Schöner Nachmittagsausflug

Schöne Bootsfahrt zum Hole in the rock. Auf dem Weg erfährt man auch einiges zu den anderen Inseln. Super nette Crew und gute Organisation.

Gelungene Tour

Die Abfahrt war pünktlich und die Crew sehr höflich. Die Reise Dauer ist völlig ausreichend um alles zu sehen. Auch am Strand Stop hatten wir genügend Zeit. Die Gegend mit den Inseln ist wirklich schön von wir haben sogar Delfine gesehen.
