Although brought to New Zealand during the gold rush era, acupuncture has long been used to treat a variety of health concerns in holistic Chinese medicine for thousands of years. Whether you’re dealing with muscular pains, stress, insomnia, or other internal pains, acupuncture can help restore energy flow back into its proper balance.
This ancient technique involves the insertion of very thin needles through the patient’s skin at specific points on the body called acupuncture points. The needles are inserted at various depths which stimulate the flow of energy around the network of pathways throughout the entire body resulting in a balance of energy and pain relief. Acupuncture has been proven to treat a broad range of painful ailments, and is a safe treatment suitable for all ages.
Tuina massage, also known as tui-na (pronounced twee-nah), is said to be the oldest technique of bodywork originated in ancient China. This technique uses many of the same principles of acupuncture but instead of needles, practitioners massage the acupressure points with their hands bringing balance to the body and alleviating pain.
Each session will be tailored to your specific needs and will include a 5-10 minute consultation, a 35-minute acupuncture treatment, and a 15-minute massage. All treatments will be carried out by expert acupuncturists and Chinese Medicine practitioners.

I was my first time having an acupuncture and was great experience. David answered all my questions promptly and made sure i was comfortable before starting the procedure. I slept last night with less pain on my shoulder which i have for more than a month now..

Satisfied with my acupuncture treatment
I had a very good experience during my acupuncture therapy. The practitioner explained clearly the nature of my illness and the procedure before starting the treatment, which made me feel comfortable and well informed. She was very professional, caring, and attentive throughout the session. I truly appreciate the care I received and would highly recommend her to others.
