Waiheke is a world-class wine destination, known for its stunning landscapes, exceptional local cuisine and award-winning wines.
A playful twist on island living - we'll whisk you away to explore Waiheke's stunning scenery and hidden treasures, where sun, sand and vineyards come together in delicious harmony!
You'll have plenty of time to soak in the spectacular scenic views as we make our way around the island, visiting three renowned wineries where you'll enjoy tastings (you'll get to try 10-15 wines!). Enjoy a leisurely lunch at a picturesque vineyard or in a vibrant beach-side restaurant. Please note, lunch is not included in the tour price.
Along the way, our local guides will keep you fascinated with their encyclopaedic knowledge of the island and fascinating local stories while revealing some hidden gems around the island.
Whether you are toasting to something big, hanging with friends/family or just in need of a relaxing wine-filled day, this is the ULTIMATE island escape.
Sample Itinerary
- 10am - Depart Auckland on Fullers Ferry to Waiheke Island (ferry at own cost)
- 10.35am - Arrive at Matiatia Wharf where you will be greeted by your guide
- 11:00am - Arrive at your first vineyard for the day and sample some delicious wines
- 12.00pm - Arrive at your second vineyard for another wine tasting and some time to shop + enjoy views
- 1:00pm - Soak up the islands views and atmosphere over a leisurely lunch (own cost) at either Batch Winery, Three Seven Two or Wild Estate.
- 3:00pm - Last wine tasting of the day at the 3rd vineyard
- 3:45pm Drop off at Matiatia Terminal for the 4pm sailing to Auckland. If you wish to stay a little longer and perhaps enjoy dinner somewhere in the village, please let your tour guide know and s/he can drop you off in the village and you can make your way back to the ferry in your own time.

Great experience
We had a wonderful day and enjoyed our visit to Waiheke. Good size group and company. Lunch would probably be better at Casita Miró.

A great wine tour
I was my partner’s birthday. Me and my brother arranged this trip for a day visit. The tour guide she was a great lady and made our trip more nice and enjoyable. Thank you.
